This verse gives us a beautiful picture of a life lived in union with Christ. But it is followed with a sober warning that a life without Him is futile. To picture this, the brightest pat of the art is "the vine," while the weakest part, the warning, is shown drifting away. A special challenge in this design was to bring unity to the central message by joining all the letters together.
